What we believe

Facts over fear.

The history of women's hormonal health is littered with studies misread, headlines miswritten, and fear substituted for evidence. We read the primary literature. We explain what it actually says. We make decisions based on data, not fear.

Autonomy over paternalism.

You are not a passive recipient of care. You are an expert in your own body and your own life. Our job is to give you the information, the options, and the time to make decisions that are genuinely yours.

Zerocookie cutter protocols. Every treatment plan is built from scratch.
Onedoctor. Your doctor. Every time.
Told no?

Start here.

Most patients arrive here after another doctor said no, said never, or just shrugged. A breast cancer survivor whose estrogen dropped off a cliff mid-treatment. A clot history that ended every hormone conversation before it started. A testosterone question nobody would take seriously.

These cases are not too risky for a real evaluation. They are what this practice is built for. See the areas of expertise →

Patient reviews

In their words.

"Just the truth! I can't tell you what a relief it is to actually feel confident that a medical professional has heard me and really investigated what's happening."Aundre
"Hormone replacement was something I had thought about for some time BUT where to start, who to trust etc. I really hit gold with Dr Emont! I just feel confident in his understanding of the field and my particular routine and meds. People aren't cookie cutter and I am comfortable he designed for me. Plus the results have been wonderful."Yvette
"Dr. Emont is a wonderful practitioner who spends a great deal of time getting to know you before starting any new medications. He is very responsive, and goes above and beyond in making a comprehensive treatment plan for each and every patient. I have recommended him to several of my friends who have not been happy with the 'one size fits all' HRT treatment."Trish
"From the very first appointment, Dr Emont truly listened to what I was going through and took my symptoms seriously. After being told by multiple providers that I was 'too young' for perimenopause, it was such a relief to finally feel heard and validated. He not only acknowledged my symptoms, but also took the time to explain what was happening and discuss appropriate options without rushing the process."Christine
"Before starting HRT, I didn't know much about it and wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Jordan was incredibly patient and attentive. He guided me through the entire process and never rushed to prescribe anything. After starting HRT, he consistently followed up to check on how I was feeling, something I had never experienced with any doctor before. His genuine care and dedication really stood out."Snez

The Practice

How care works.

Emont Medicine is a concierge telehealth practice. Small by design, cash-pay, and built around one arc: settle the hard hormone decision first, then optimize the decades after it. Labs are included in the initial consultation, so there are no surprise lab bills. After that, labs can be billed through your insurance or paid in cash at the low rates the practice has negotiated.

STEP 1

Initial consultation

$1,200 · 90 minutes

The front door for every new patient, and built for complicated cases. An intake visit, a review of your records, and a comprehensive laboratory panel included in the price: more than 90 individual biomarkers covering your sex hormones, thyroid, metabolic health, advanced cardiovascular markers, inflammation, blood count, iron stores, and key micronutrients, each measured against optimal ranges. You leave with an actual plan, whether or not you continue past this visit.

The full fee credits toward the Emont Method Optimization program if started within three months.
STEP 2

The Emont Method Optimization program

$4,800 · four months

Intensive, data-driven care: unlimited visits, dose titration, direct text access with responses in under 24 hours, discounted supplements, a repeat comprehensive lab panel, and all monitoring labs along the way.

Graduation is decided on data: symptoms controlled, markers at target or trending there.

$3,600 after your initial consultation fee is applied.
STEP 3

Membership

$1,200 per quarter

For program graduates. Each quarter includes a full visit, a review of your newest labs against your optimal targets, and continuous prescription management and pharmacy coordination.

Labs are billed through your insurance, or paid in cash at the practice's negotiated rates.

Clinical framework

The Emont Method.

Most medical visits are built around the clock. This care is built around you. A structured, evidence-based approach to hormonal health that treats complexity as a starting point rather than a barrier.

PHASE 1Prepare
1

Book your initial consultation

Your journey begins with a comprehensive initial consultation with Dr. Emont. This is where we get to know you, your history, your symptoms, your concerns, and your goals.

There is no rushing to a protocol, no assumptions made before we have the full picture. Just a dedicated conversation between you and a physician who is genuinely prepared to listen.

Where it begins "No assumptions made before we have the full picture."
2

Complete your intake & labs

Before your appointment, we send you everything you need to get the most from your visit. You will complete a comprehensive set of intake forms covering your full medical and life history, alongside a detailed symptom questionnaire using validated scoring tools.

We will also send a lab order through Quest Diagnostics for an advanced hormone and cardiometabolic panel of more than 70 biomarkers: the foundation of your clinical picture.

Before you arrive "70+ biomarkers. Interpreted against optimal ranges, not population averages."
PHASE 2Transform
3

Your initial consultation

A dedicated 90-minute visit with Dr. Emont, the kind of appointment most people have never experienced in a medical setting. He arrives having already reviewed your intake, your symptom scores, and your full lab results.

You leave with a clear understanding of where your hormonal and metabolic health stands today, what is driving your symptoms, and exactly what we are going to do about it.

The conversation "Every question you bring with you gets an answer. Every concern is taken seriously."
4

Define your graduation goals

At your initial visit, you and Dr. Emont define exactly what success looks like for you. Not generic outcomes. Your outcomes. They might include:

  • Hot flashes resolved, or reduced to a level that no longer disrupts your daily life
  • Sleep restored: falling asleep, staying asleep, waking rested
  • Energy and mental clarity back to a level that feels like you
  • Hormone levels in therapeutic range, cardiometabolic markers improving
  • Genitourinary symptoms addressed, sexual health and libido improved
  • A protocol you feel confident in and understand
Your definition of done "Not generic outcomes. Your outcomes."
5

The clinical work

This is where the work happens. From the moment you enroll in the four-month Emont Method Optimization program, it is yours: all visits with Dr. Emont, direct messaging access, a bespoke protocol built entirely around your physiology, comprehensive monitoring labs at month three, and continuous refinement until you reach your graduation goals.

We start by helping you get your life back, then we move the needle on your numbers. At the end you not only feel better but have a new life course for the next 50 years.

The active phase "Symptoms controlled. Markers at target or trending there."
PHASE 3Arrive
6

Graduation. You've arrived.

Your symptoms are improved. Your cardiometabolic markers are moving in the right direction. Your protocol is stable, you feel confident, and you and Dr. Emont agree that you have reached your goals.

Graduation is a shared decision, not a formality. It marks the transition from active optimization to ongoing care, and the beginning of your Membership.

What comes next "You came in with a list of things that needed to be different. That difference is now manifested."
Areas of expertise

Where this practice lives.

Perimenopause & menopause

Comprehensive, individualized care for every stage of the hormonal transition. We aim to improve your hot flashes, brain fog, mood changes, sexual dysfunction, joint pains, and more, and preserve your healthspan. We provide care using hormonal, non-hormonal, and botanical/integrative approaches concordant with your care preferences.

Menopause and cancer

Evidence guided non-hormonal and hormonal management for cancer survivors and previvors navigating treatment-induced or natural menopause. The relationship between hormone therapy and cancer is nuanced, cancer-specific, and deeply individual. We evaluate every patient individually, in close collaboration with your oncology team, and with full awareness of your treatment history, receptor status, and current risk profile. You shouldn't have to choose between treating your cancer and treating your menopause.

Menopause and high clot risk

A clot history, a clotting disorder, or migraine with aura usually ends the hormone conversation before it starts. It shouldn't. Route of delivery, formulation, and dose change the risk math substantially, and that math deserves to be walked through with real numbers.

Cardiometabolic & longevity health

The hormonal changes of menopause don't stop at symptoms. Estrogen loss accelerates cardiovascular risk, affects lipid profiles, increases insulin resistance, and accelerates bone loss; these are changes that unfold quietly and are often missed until they matter. Longevity is embedded into every care plan: advanced cardiometabolic laboratory panels, bone density assessment, and body composition analysis build a complete picture, with hormonal optimization as a core tool in your long-term strategy.

Menopause at every age

Most menopause care is designed for a narrow window. For women who enter menopause early, whether spontaneously, surgically, or through cancer treatment, the stakes are higher and the hormone replacement more urgent. For women who are a decade or more postmenopausal, the conversation is not over; it has simply shifted toward longevity, tissue health, and whether it is too late to start or optimize hormone therapy. It is rarely too late, and that answer deserves more than a shrug.

Testosterone & sexual medicine

Low desire, arousal and orgasm changes, and sexual pain are medical issues with real workups and real treatments, including testosterone where the evidence supports it. These questions have usually gone unanswered by the time patients arrive here. They get answered here.

Complex gynecology

Some patients don't fit neatly into a single diagnosis. Endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, PCOS, surgical or premature menopause, primary ovarian insufficiency, MCAS, refractory symptoms after prior treatment: these histories require a physician who understands the full picture and can hold the complexity without defaulting to oversimplified answers. If your gynecologic history is complicated, you're exactly who we're here for.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do you take insurance?

The practice is cash-pay, which is what makes unhurried visits and direct access possible. Labs after the initial consultation can be billed through your insurance, or paid in cash at the low rates the practice has negotiated.

Which states do you see patients in?

Emont Medicine is telehealth only, for patients located in California, Florida, Utah, and Ohio, with more states coming. If you live elsewhere, the educational consultation is open to anyone.

Do I have to continue past the initial consultation?

No. The initial consultation is built to stand on its own: you leave with a full evaluation and an actual plan, whether or not you go further. If you do continue, the full $1,200 fee credits toward the Emont Method Optimization program when started within three months.

I've had breast cancer, or a blood clot. Can I even consider hormones?

These cases are the core of this practice, not an exception to it. A history of cancer or clotting changes the conversation; it does not automatically end it. Your case gets a real evaluation with honest numbers, and you decide from there.

What happens after the Optimization program?

Graduates move to Membership: a quarterly rhythm of full visits, lab review against your optimal targets, and continuous prescription management, built around the decades ahead.

How is this different from a regular OB/GYN visit?

Time and depth. A 90-minute intake instead of 15 minutes, a comprehensive lab panel measured against optimal ranges rather than merely normal ones, and a practice built specifically for the cases other practices avoid.

If you have been told your situation is too complicated, too risky, or too much: you are exactly who this was built for.

About

Welcome from Dr. Jordan Emont.

Welcome to Emont Medicine. I'm so glad you're here.

In the last few years, awareness and knowledge surrounding menopause care has grown astronomically. It is a great thing. But I have consistently seen one problem. While so many women have finally been able to access the care they need, there's a large group of women with various medical concerns that have been put aside. They've been told that their menopause doesn't matter. That there are no options and they just have to suffer through it.

This includes women with a history of breast and gynecologic cancers, women with current or risk for heart disease, early menopause, hormones 10 years past menopause, and women with elevated clot risk. It also includes people with conventionally misunderstood and mistreated conditions such as MCAS, endometriosis, and PCOS.

I created this practice because I believe all women are entitled to evidence based conversations surrounding their menopause care. That might include hormones, non-hormonal options, supplements, and more. Our goal is to provide you with the evidence based choices and guidance to improve your life.

We operate with two simple principles:

Facts over fear.
Autonomy over paternalism.

If you've been told menopause care isn't safe for you, you're not alone. Regardless of what medical issues you have, we are here for you, ready to provide you with the care you need to thrive in menopause and beyond.

Dr. Jordan Emont
Who we're built for

These are our patients.

The woman with a history of breast cancer who needs to talk honestly about hormones. The woman who had a clot ten years ago and has been told hormone therapy is off the table, forever, no further discussion. The woman in her early forties whose labs are "normal" but who hasn't felt like herself in years. The 75 year old woman who missed out on HRT 20 years ago, now with osteoporosis.

This practice was built specifically for complexity. For the cases that make other providers uncomfortable, that fall outside the algorithm, that require someone willing to sit with nuance and actually think. Difficulty is the reason we exist.
